You will be picked up from your accommodation by car in Ivalo village.

After about half an hour driving we will continue with the fisherman`s snowmobile and a sledge for about fifteen minutes.

This trip takes you to Lake Inari, which is the second biggest lake in Finland. You will learn two different ways of wintery fishing. We will check the fishing nets and try to catch something by ice fishing.

While you are trying your luck with ice fishing, your guide will prepare picnic lunch for you. He also prepares something from the catch you`ve got from the nets. You can also take part of cooking if you like.

In the fisherman`s camp there is a kota – a traditional Sàmi shelter made of fabric with an open fire to warm up yourselves.
